Palexpo, Geneva's exhibition and convention centre, is an international venue located close to Geneva international airport and the city's rail station.
Palexpo is also easily accessible by motorway from the rest of Switzerland as well as from France, Italy and Germany, and offers on-site parking for 2,800 vehicles.
Palexpo have been recycling their waste since 1992, and provide electricity derived from renewable sources.
Palexpo only uses electricity generated in Switzerland via hydropower, and with some 30,000 m2 of solar panels fitted on its roof, the centre is also the second largest solar power 'plant' in the country.
The panels today provide enough electricity to supply 1,350 households annually.
